Will cleaning my pond disturb the beneficial bacteria in my filter?
A pond clean focuses on the pond itself - walls, floor and sludge. We take care to preserve filter media and biological bacteria during the process. Where filter media does need rinsing, we do so with pond water rather than tap water to protect the beneficial bacterial colony.
Do you take the pond waste away after a clean?
Yes. All sludge, organic debris and removed plant material is bagged and taken away as part of the service. We leave your garden and pond area clean and tidy on completion.
